• Don't pay too much too soon! Honeymoon packages generally can be held with a deposit until 45 to 60 days prior to travel. Know what is required by the supplier.
• Request a supplier confirmation with complete itinerary after you make your deposit.
• Use travel insurance (available at any travel agency, honeymoon specialist, etc.)
